At 20:49 on 26th August, two fire engines from Barnoldswick and Nelson attended a waste fire on Blind Lane, Gisburn, Clitheroe. The incident involved a quantity of waste and tyres. Firefighters used one breathing apparatus, and one hose reel to extinguish the fire before damping down the affected area. They were in attendance for around two hours.
