At 21:15 four fire engines from Lancaster and Morecambe attended an incident on Middleton Road, Morecambe. The fire involved a large amount of refuse at a commercial site and firefighters used two hose reels, two ceiling hooks, one ground monitor and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were at the scene for one hour and ten minutes.
