At 12:50 two fire engines from Blackpool attended reports of a tumble dryer fire on Grasmere Road, Blackpool. The tumble dryer was in the outbuilding of a domestic property and used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel. One casualty was suffering from smoke inhalation but refused treatment. Fire crews were at the scene for approximately forty minutes.
