At 08:26 two fire engines from Lancaster attended a fire in a domestic property on Hope Street, Lancaster. The fire invovled a tumble dryer in the basement of a terraced property. Fireifhgters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and positive venitlation fan to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were at the scene for thirty five minutes.
