Welcome to Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service
Welcome to Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service’s website – full of information about our work across the County.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service employs over 1,500 staff to provide a wide range of preventative and emergency response services. All of our employees are committed working together, and with other organisations to make Lancashire safer for those who live and work here.
Our service has five strategic objectives, they are to: reduce the number of emergency incidents and their consequences; ensure a safe, healthy, competent and representative workforce; reduce our impact on the environment; help build stronger, healthier and more sustainable communities and deliver affordable, value for money services.
Under-pinning our objectives and helping us to deliver what is most important are our five key priorities: reduce risk; enhance resilience; tailor services to meet local needs; promote equality and diversity and improve value for money.
