Commercial building fire in Blackburn

At 02:21 on 05 April, four fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen attended a commercial building fire on New Wellington Street, Blackburn. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a triple extension ladder, a positive-pressure ventilation unit, and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. They remained in attendance for approximately seven hours.
