Fire crews from Blackburn, Hyndburn and Darwen fire stations, including the Aerial Ladder Platform from Hyndburn attended a domestic fire on Primrose Bank, Blackburn. The fire involved a quantity of food in the microwave however it was out on arrival of firefighters at the scene. There was one casualty at the incident who was suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation and received a precautionary check from ambulance crews at the scene. Firefighters were in attendance approximately 50 minutes.
