At 17:54hrs, two crews from Hyndburn were called to assist in rescuing a dog from the roof of a property on Fountain Street in Accrington. They used a triple extension ladder to bring the dog safely back down and the animal was then left in the care of a neighbour. Crews were in attendance around fifteen minutes.
