At 19:10 on 13 June, two fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen attended an animal rescue on Whitebirk Drive, Rishton, Blackburn. The incident involved a lamb that had fallen into the canal. Firefighters rescued the animal from the water. They were in attendance for twenty-five minutes.
