Fire crews from Lancaster and Garstang alongside the water incident unit from Preston attended a fire involving a boat on Cabus Nook Lane, Preston. Crews used a two general purpose lines, one light portable pump, one jet, two hose reels and one ceiling hook to extinguish the fire. There was one casualty reported at the incident suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation and head injuries . They were left in the care of paramedics at the scene. Crews were in attendance approximately one hour and forty five minutes.
