Two fire engines from Hyndburn and Darwen were called to a car fire on the M65 westbound carriageway between junctions 4 and 3. Firefighters used one hose reel, one breathing apparatus and saws to extinguish the fire and make the vehicle safe. Firefighters were at the incident for one hour. No injuries were reported.
