At 14:38 on 18 December, two fire engines from Carnforth and Bolton-le-Sands attended a chimney fire on Grosvenor Place, Carnforth. Firefighters used one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for half an hour.
