Two fire engines and crews, from Bispham and Fleetwood, responded to an incident at which the contents of a chip pan had set alight at a house on The Corners, Thornton Cleveleys. Two adult occupants had inhaled smoke and were taken to hospital by ambulance for precautionary checks. Firefighters used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.
