Four fire engines from Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn attended a commercial building fire on Preston New Road, Blackburn. The fire involved a chip range. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a Positive Pressure Ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were on scene for approximately thirty minutes.
