Two fire crews from Hyndburn and Great Harwood tackled a cooking fire on Sparth Road. The fire was in a domestic property and involved a pan which had been left on the hob however it was out on arrival. One person was suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation and was given oxygen therapy by crews. Firefighters made the scene safe using a fan to clear smoke from the property and were in attendance around ninety minutes.
