At 16:45 on 29th December, two fire engines from Leyland and Penwortham attended a derelict building fire on Glenluce Drive, Preston. The incident involved the ground floor of a derelict property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one positive pressure ventilation unit, and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately an hour.
