Four fire engines from Skelmersdale, Ormskirk and Wigan (Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service) were called to a report of a commercial property on fire on Firbeck, Birch Green in Skelmersdale.
On arrival, the fire service dealt with a fire on the first floor of a derelict property.
One hose reel, a thermal imaging camera, and a triple extension ladder were used to extinguish the fire.
Crews were in attendance for approximately fifty minutes.
