Fire crews from Barnoldswick and Colne attended a domestic property on Albert Road, Barnoldswick after the caller reported being able to smell smoke in the property. When crews arrived at the scene and investigated they found the incident involved an electrical light fitting which had overheated. Firefighters removed the light fitting using a tool kit and made the scene safe.
