Two fire engines from South Shore and Blackpool responded to a fire on Powell Avenue, Blackpool.
The incident involved a tumble dryer in the kitchen of a domestic property.
Firefighters successfully put out the fire using two sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
Crews remained at the scene for around thirty minutes.
