Fire crews from Ormskirk and Southport (Merseyside FRS) were called to reports of a fire involving a garage that was attached to a property on Moss Gardens, Halsall. The fire involved an electrical battery that was inside the garage. Four firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel and thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Fire crews were in attendance approximately one hour.
