Three fire engines from Ormskirk and Skelmersdale were called to reports of a fire on Vale Lane, Lathom, Ormskirk. The fire involved the attic space of a domestic property. Firefighters used a 10.5 metre ladder, a triple extension ladder, lighting units, six breathing apparatus, one main jet and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Fire service personnel remained in attendance for approximately one hour and forty minutes. No injuries were reported.
