At 13:50 on 27th January, two fire engines from Skelmersdale attended a domestic building fire on Whitehey, Skelmersdale. The incident involved a pan on a hob. Firefighters used breaking-in equipment, two hose reels, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately half an hour.
