Three fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended a domestic fire on Hopwood Street in Preston. Firefighters used one hose reel and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. One casualty was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation treatment. Crews were in attendance for approximately forty five minutes.
