At 01:18 on the 1st November 2023, three fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended a domestic property fire on Ormerod Street, Accrington. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel, a ventilation unit and a door ram to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour and forty minutes.
