At 17:23hrs, two fire crews from Bamber Bridge and Penwortham tackled a fire at a house on Regents Way in Bamber Bridge. On arrival they found the fire in the kitchen of a ground floor flat. Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel and a fan unit. Crews also gave first aid to one casualty at the scene prior to paramedics arriving. Firefighters were in attendance around fifty minutes.
