When using candles we’ve got a bit of safety advice it’s worth taking a look at:

Candle Safety - candles bring fire into your home, so they need to be treated carefully. Secure them in a proper holder, keep them well away from any flammable materials like curtains, books, materials etc. Take extra care wearing loose clothing around candles as you might not notice straight away if the garment has caught fire and never use candles on the side of plastic baths or televisions.
