At 19:39hrs, two fire crews from Skelmersdale and Wigan (GMFRS) responded to a fire at a domestic property in Blakehall. The fire involved a pan of food which had been left on a cooker. One person was rescued by firefighters and tended to by crews until paramedics arrived. Crews made the scene safe using a fan unit and were in attendance around forty minutes.
