Time of call 12.54pm to a take-away on New Hall Lane, Preston. Initial report suggested someone may be trapped by fire but no-one was and there were no casualties. Two Preston, one Penwortham and one Fulwood fire engines and crews attended. Fire in a ground floor kitchen. A hose reel jet and dry powder extinguisher were used to put the fire out, cause of which is to be established.
