Three fire engines from Hyndburn and Darwen attended a fire in a ground floor flat on Livingstone Road in Blackburn. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire and clear the smoke. They gave first aid to one casualty suffering from smoke inhalation.
