Four fire engines from Blackpool, Bispham and South Shore attended a fire in a flat on Rodwell Walk in Blackpool. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. One casualty received first aid for smoke inhalation. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
