Three fire engines from Hyndburn and Rawtenstall were called to a house fire on Maudsley Street, Accrington. Firefighters used one breathing apparatus, two ventilation units, two hose reels and breaking in tools to extinguish the fire. One person was treated at the scene by paramedics and firefighters before being taken to hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
