Three fire engines from Chorley and Bamber Bridge were called to a house fire on Chorley Lane, Charnock Richard. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels, a positive pressure ventilation fan and gas monitors to extinguish the fire. Two casualties were rescued from the property and given first aid by firefighters and paramedics. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
