At 22:05hrs, three fire crews from Bamber Bridge, Chorley and Horwich (GMFRS) tackled a fire at a house on Fielden Street in Chorley. On arrival fire crews found the kitchen of the property well alight. They used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire, which had also spread to the dining room of the property. One person was treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation. Firefighters were in attendance around five hours.
