At 04:24 on the 7th July 2022, two fire engines from Ormskirk and Tarleton attended a fire on Liverpool Road North, Burscough. The fire involved a industrial building which was approximately 10 meters by 5 meters. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour and forty five minutes.
