Two fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn were called to a fire involving a kitchen of a domestic property on Kipling Place, Great Harwood. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, positive pressure ventilation and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. One casualty was treated by staff from North West Ambulance Service. Crews remained on scene for one hour and thirty five minutes.
