Commercial building fire in burnley

At 13:22 hours on the 18th of September 2024, four fire engines from Burnley, Hyndburn, and Nelson fire stations attended reports of a commercial building fire on Whittam Street in Burnley. The fire was small and located on the second floor of a derelict mill. Fire crews used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for thirty-five minutes.
