Crews from Hyndburn and Darwen along with the LFRS drone unit attended reports of three casualties who were stuck in mud near Ribblesdale Avenue, Accrington. When they arrived they found three casualties stuck in sinking mud up their knees. Firefighters rescued the casualties using a triple extension ladder and salvage sheets. They were in attendance approximately 30 minutes.
