At 15:28 on 11th July, two fire engines from Leyland and Penwortham attended an outbuilding fire on Camwood Drive, Lostock Hall. The fire involved a garage of a detached property. Firefighters used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for one and a half hours.
