At 03:07hrs, two fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore responded to a fire involving a farm building on Preston New Road. The outbuilding was approximately 5m by 5m and well alight when firefighters arrived. Crews put the fire out using two hose reels and a thermal imaging camera and were in attendance around three hours. Investigations into the cause of the fire are now underway.
