Three fire engines from Lancaster and Hornby, along with one fire engine from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, attended an incident on Bentham Road in Wennington, Lancaster. Firefighters used rope packs and a stretcher to rescue one casualty who had fallen down an embankment. The casualty was left in the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were at the scene for around two hours.
