Firefighters from Darwen were called to reports of a fire involving a skip on Spring Vale Road, Darwen. On arrival they found the fire involved a shipping container containing a quantity of clothes recycling. The fire was extinguished using a triple extension ladder and hose reel. Firefighters were in attendance approximately thirty minutes.
