Two fire engines from Skelmersdale were called to reports of a fire at a property on Cherrycroft, Skelmersdale. The fire involved a washing machine, on the ground floor of the property. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire and clear the property of smoke. Crews were in attendance approximately 35 minutes.
