Firefighters from Blackburn, Great Harwood and Nelson were called to reports of a fire on Rhyddings Street, Oswaldtwistle. On arrival they found the fire involved approximately three tonnes of recycled waste. Crews used one hose reel and one jet to extinguish the fire and were in attendance approximately ninety minutes.
