At 12:38hrs on April 30th 2020, firefighters were called to reports of thick, black smoke near Church Street, Ribchester. One arrival two crews from Blackburn and Longridge found a fire involving tyres and wood panels. The fire was extinguished using a hose reel and breathing apparatus and with the assistance of farm machinery. Crews were in attendance for approximately 2 and a half hours.
