Two fire engines from Preston and special appliances from Penwortham attended an incident off Peddars Way, Ashton-on-Ribble in Preston involving one person marooned on a concrete pontoon in the water on Albert Edward Dock. A swift water rescue team used a sled to rescue the person who was treated by ambulance staff.
