Salary: Grade 10, Spinal Column Points 42-46, £51,802 - £56,075
Working Arrangements: 36.25 hours per week, a flexitime scheme is in operation

As the Deputy Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the management of the Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Systems, Corporate and Treasury Functions as well as the day to day management and development of the finance team.
You must be a fully qualified accountant with at least two years of experience working in Public Sector Finance. You will have demonstrable experience in producing statutory accounts, revenue and capital budget setting, monitoring management accounts, producing financial returns, treasury management and VAT accounting. Experience in managing a Finance team is also essential.
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills with experience of providing financial advice and guidance that adds value. You should have knowledge of local government finance, and legislation in relation to finance, treasury management, VAT and other taxation. The ability to work on own initiative, and manage a demanding workload is also essential.
