At 13:59 on 21 May, five fire engines from Morecambe, Lancaster, Bolton-le-Sands, Carnforth, and Preston, together with an aerial ladder platform from Preston, attended a cylinder fire in Heysham. The incident involved a cylinder on the roof of a commercial building. Firefighters used one hose reel and a covering jet to extinguish the fire. No Injuries were reported. Crews were in attendance for two hours and twenty minutes.
