At 13:05 on 7 July 2025, three fire engines from Blackpool, Bispham and South Shore were called to a building fire on Fairfield Avenue, Poulton-le-Fylde. The fire involved one shed, one greenhouse, and two garages. Firefighters used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus, a triple extension ladder and hand tools to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
