Three fire engines from Penwortham and Preston attended a house fire on St Georges Road, Preston.

Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.

Crews were on scene for approximately one hour and ten minutes and all persons were accounted for with no injuries reported.
