Commercial property fire in Bamber Bridge

At 17:17 on 18th July 2025, five fire engines attended a commercial building fire on Charnley Fold, Bamber Bridge. Keep windows and doors closed if you can see or smell smoke. Road closures are in place whilst the incident is ongoing so please avoid the area. Crews will remain at the scene overnight and into the morning, which may affect local businesses opening.

Update at 10:00am on 19th July: Crews remain at the incident on Charnley Fold, Bamber Bridge. Electricity to the industrial estate has been isolated for safety reasons, so businesses will remain closed until this is resolved. A cordon is still in place to please continue to avoid the area
